I received about 1 unique visit per month for 9 months and decided not to renew with such a low clickthru rate. Now I receive once or twice a month a notice that my listing is about to expire (they keep extending my epiration date). I've been receiving these emails for about 5 months.
Even though they say my listing will expire, it's still on their site. I won't sign up for a paid listing but as long as they want to keep me on their site for free, then I'll just keep deleting their expiration notices.
I'm not a member, but findbnb.com says it has a 4-star Innstar rating, so I'm surprised at the low click-through. I also don't see any free listing options:

How to add or read comments for a directory listing
Find the directory you want (see above) . You will see something like "Posted by Happy Innkeeper at 10/14/2006 09:25:00 AM1 comments" at the bottom of the post. To add or read comments, click on the "comments" tag. A new window will popup showing all current comments and at the bottom a place for you to add your own comments. Comments may be added anonymously if so desired. For posting guidelines click here
